Becoming a Sponsor (Economic Developers)
Our Business Proposition
Our business proposition begins with the quality and quantity
of Corporate Executives we are able to attract as delegates.
All delegates are carefully pre-screened and pre-qualified
before an invitation is extended.
Delegate (Corporate Executive) Invitation
Criteria
All delegates must meet four criteria to qualify for an invitation
to attend:
- Responsible for companies' relocation or expansion plans
- Currently conducting or about to start preliminary search
- Plan to make the final decision on where to expand/relocate
between November 2008 and end 2011
- The project will result in at least one of the following
over three years:
- 40 full-time jobs (or equivalent) created
- $1 million in payroll, including health and retirement
benefits
- $2 million in capital investment
Why Do Delegates Attend
The Event?
- Streamline the site location search - Delegates
will select the economic development organizations and utility
companies they want to meet with. These meetings will either
be (1) 25 minute one-on-one meetings, (2) mealtime meetings
or (3) meeting over a game of golf or other recreational
event. These will all form part of your itinerary.
- A first class conference program - Prepared by
Business Facilities magazine, the program
will provide strategic and practical information senior
executives need to make intelligent location choices.
- Networking with their peers - Although delegates
will be kept busy around the clock with other corporate
executives, there will be time to meet informally and share
experiences.
- The event is FREE OF CHARGE for all Corporate Executives
who are responsible for their companies' relocation or expansion
plans and who have qualified for an invitation to attend.
ROI Sponsors
(Economic Developers)
- Each sponsor executive selects which delegates he/she
wishes to meet using extensive delegate profiles
- All meetings are driven by the delegate, and no delegate
is placed in a meeting he or she hasn’t specifically approved
or requested. This ensures an interested prospect in all
business meetings.
- Sponsors can request additional meetings at the event
using our specialized messaging system
- All attendees receive their itinerary one week prior
to the event, enabling to prepare for each meeting
